Re: August and September fixture changes
Sundays and late kick offs suit me best these days.

If im going to a game which is very rare then give me the 3pm Saturday every time, if for nothing else old time sake and reminiscing of a world gone by and of my youth!

Used to be a whole ritual on Saturdays with the build up to the game, Morning newspapers, then football focus on TV was the starter, a bite to eat then a few pints before kick off wondering if the match of the day cameras would be present, back then no one knew which games would be featured so seeing the cameras meant it was worth coming home early from the Pub especially if we won! No replays or watch it on demand back then although when the video machine came out you could, just hoped my dad hadn’t fallen asleep so not reordered it.

Fuck me how different it was back then; every game was at 3pm on Saturday.

The usual non-response on these threads, odd how no one seems to give a fuck when our games are played.

Have to agree with Swiss, I prefer Sunday games too, can relax watch the Saturday games (if not shopping) and don't wake up Sunday morning with the hump.

Re: August and September fixture changes
As in the original post the first scheduled Saturday 3pm (away at Everton Sept 17) is likely to move to Sunday as Matchday 2 of the Europa Conf is Thursday 15th

Sat Oct 1st v Wolves at home is likely to be our first Sat 3pm & Bournemouth at home Oct 22 the second.
2 in the first 3 months of the season .... subject to tv moving either of those.

Re: August and September fixture changes
Sunday kick offs are so much better. Saturdays are busier days and if we lose it pisses me off for the whole weekend.
